A brand new event. No ticket sales history. No advertising budget.

When we decided to celebrate four years of The Social Collective by launching In Her Empire Era (New Zealand's first luxury, fashion-forward event series for women in business) we made a deliberate decision.

We weren't going to spend a single dollar on advertising.

Not because we couldn't. Because we wanted to prove something.

We run a marketing agency. We help founders and operators build brands that grow through smart, strategic marketing. So when it came time to launch our own event, we decided to use it as a live, public demonstration of everything we believe great marketing can do.

The event had to sell itself. And it did.

Official Disney branding was secured. Event Cinemas came on board. Multiple premium NZ female founders contributed thousands of dollars in prizes and goodie bag inclusions. And we already have sign-ups for the next event before it's even been announced.
